To be healthy takes a great investment in yourself. There is no better feeling than getting stronger, getting to know your body and pushing yourself outside your comfort zone. My fitness journey has taken me down many different paths but my experiences have taught me that success has one common denominator: hard work.

Exercise has been a huge part of my life since I was a child. Playing sports is where I learned healthy habits, learned to work as a part of a team and learned that with hard work you can achieve just about anything. As I got older I found it more and more difficult to incorporate movement in my daily life. When workdays are long and stress builds up it can be difficult to get motivated to hit the gym. The biggest factor in my motivation is accountability. I am so fortunate to have a partner that holds me accountable and pushes me to be the best version of myself. The motivation we give to one another was the inspiration behind M43 Fitness. We wanted to give people the opportunity to come together as a fitness community and share ideas and best practices and hold each other accountable. Our goal is to know our members’ strengths and weaknesses so that we can all work together to be the best versions of ourselves.

When I’m not at the gym you can find me spending time with family and friends, playing outside with our two doodles Breslin and Brody or in the kitchen experimenting with recipes. Scott and I met at Michigan State University and we share a passion for MSU sports and during football season you can find us tailgating at all the home games.

Thank you so much for taking time to get to know me! Stay tuned to our blog to see some of my favorite recipes (for humans and dogs) and some of my favorite health and wellness products.
